Description of profession:
A social rehabilitator works in welfare's institutions which provide services of medical rehabilitation and social rehabilitation in a special institution or a place of living of a patient. Social rehabilitator takes part in planning social rehabilitation for persons who for different reasons (social, mental, physical) are isolated from the society; works at improvement of a patient's social skills; implements social activity of a patient; stimulates a patient to live independently and to have a social interest . A social rehabilitator involves a patient in choosing certain social services, evaluates social rehabilitation plan and social rehabilitation services, works supervised by a professional social specialist.
